I despise it. Yet, using it helps.

I bloody well wish it was only Ginny's love which helps me in all this difficulty. But I know what the truth is. That cold thing in me, I don't want it. Why would anyone want something from the murderer of their parents, of their life?

But the fact that Voldemort now locks me out of his thoughts and how this thing from him actually helps, and even Ginny thinks I shouldn't fight it or the idea of using it, means something important. Time to stop being a child that wants the perfect lost family and prevent other families from being lost.

I hope I'm not forgetting anything.
[Hexed private]
I'm beginning to understand some of what Dumbledore must have gone through. Ginny wants to know. There were times I wanted to know or other times I was too young to know. It isn't that I think she's a child. Dumbledore was right not telling me a lot of this when I was eleven or twelve. She'll know when it's the right time.

Fred and George shut down their shop.

We had the funeral.

Voldemort should be dead by NOW.

I told Moody as briefly as I could about the Horcruxes. I don't think he liked talking about them and he expressed genuine horror at the idea of there being more than one. But he can probably help me. He mentioned me telling McGonagall and I think it's a good idea.

You left it up to me, Dumbledore, so I'm going to have to do this my way.
[/Private]

That was some good playing, team. But we have to work harder now because Slytherin wasn't playing too well and I don't think the other teams are as discombobolated. But pat yourselves and each other on the back, certainly. Even a disorganised opposition can beat us if we aren't ready and you were all ready.

I never got a chance to say where I found it. I looked all around the house and I checked with some sources in the Wizarding World, places and people who sell various items of questionable heritage/vintage whatever.

Well, it turned out that Kreacher had the blasted thing.

Hello Hermione. Have you managed to find out anything else? How are you doing? I sort of miss being there and guess what, I'm going to owl McGonagall about returning. Yes, I was lucky and accomplished step one.

What's going on with you? I really want to hear, even if you're rereading "Hogwarts: A History".
